Appalled President Obama, Treasury Secretary Geithner and Congress for Attacking AIG!

I am seriously appalled at President Obama, Treasury Secretary Geithner and those in Congress that Voted for the AIG bailout & for other businesses to receive TAXPAYER FUNDS. I'm appalled they are appalled at the bonuses.

Many of us don't believe government and business should be in bed together-we believe in the FREE MARKET. It is the Free Market that has made America successful. Notwithstanding current economic conditions, any intelligent loan officer (ahem), would deny loans to non-creditworthy parties. At worst, even a bad loan officer would have asked for an outline of why that party was requesting said funds, or ask for a business plan, or some other list to simply outline exactly how the funds would be spent. Like the union contracts that bleed businesses into insolvency and are supported by Obama, AIG and other businesses living up to their contractual agreements are not to blame.

What has not been common knowledge but is evident today is our GOVERNMENT does NOT have all the answers. Most of Congress' makeup is comprised of attorneys who have no economic experience at all. At best their experience could entail reconciling a checkbook or perhaps attending one economic class (microeconomics at that) and earning a C- thereby giving us roughly a C response when voting on or commenting on the American economy & Trillion Dollar budget. This could prove to be disastrous for America and could very well include the likes of Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Franks and Dodd. And probably the better reason government should not be in business. I clearly recall during the campaign, Obama had juxtaposed his temperament with that of McCain to play up his superior patient and calm demeanor in stressful situations. (link) What Americans have been hearing since Obama took office is "crisis"; this crisis was inherited; and we must act now so the world can continue to spin on its own axis. Well besides reneging on all his CONSERVATIVE (his so called middle ground) campaign promises- he has proven that he acts irrational, especially in this crisis. Coupled with his irrational behaviour, Obama has lied to the American People. (link 1), (link 2) He has passed this Stimulus Bill with the intentions of fulfilling his agenda and economic stimulation will come later.

We've all heard of the Rahm Emmanuel quote (link) of not letting a crisis go to waste to complete tasks that otherwise could not be passed-there is a precise reason such issues would otherwise not be passed, they're NO GOOD!

As per my previous commentary, this is NOT inherited. We seem to forget that we are in this economic mess primarily due to the witting accomplices in the sub-prime mortgage scandal. Off the top of my head, those players are: Barney FRANK (D) & Chris DODD (D) playing the roll of legislature (creating the laws that allow this to happen) and banking oversight of Freddie & Fannie; ACORN & ACLU providing unending lawsuits to banks not willing to extend credit & forced to issued Freddie & Fannie loans; Numerous BANKS and MORTGAGE BROKERS not performing due diligence (income verification) on prospective home buyers. The sub-prime scandal lead to unemployment issues (under 5% during Bush), foreclosures, banks closing, housing bubble (created by sub-prime loans) to burst and Obama & gang are using the People’s hardships to pass these radical spending social Bills-none of which will fix our economy… but if left alone, Free Market and Tax Cuts will do that in due time.
